How long Can I Expect to Wait?

On Average, we can be there in 5-10 minutes.  Due to the vastness of our area, if we get several calls all at once, we could be 15-20 minutes before reaching you.  Please understand that at BAR closing, everyone calls for a cab at the same time and under extremely busy evening, you may have to wait up to 30 minutes.  We do however take your calls very seriously and do our best to be prompt.

Why did you tell 10 minutes and the took 20 minutes?

When we answered the phone, from your call, we may have had one call in front of you.  We had estimated that the trip was going to be a short one, BUT, it didn't turn out that way.  For some reason, they decided they needed us to wait for them at a destination, and/or then take them to another, and wait again.

We do apologize, we do try our best to guesstimate the time of trips and periodically get it wrong.

Can I Drink in a Taxi?

Under the Motor Vehicle Act of British Columbia, open alcohol is forbidden in a Taxi.  We can however, transport your alcohol in our rear compartment of our taxis.

Do I Have to Wear a Seat Belt in a Taxi?

Yes, it is the law.  We encourage you to wear a seatbelt by posting a mandatory seatbelt notice in every Taxi.  Persons  under 16 years of age MUST wear a seatbelt or transportation cannot be provided, unless the person under 16 is accompanied by an adult.

Can I get Deliveries Made To My Room?

Yes, we can deliver just about anything from prescriptions, food, and/or liquor.  To receive liquor, you will be asked for valid ID (19 Years of age, BC laws) and it will be recorded by the driver.  Advantage for you is that you are only charged for the metered trip from the pickup to your door.

Can I get my GST Back?

International traveler may apply to get back the GST funds they have spent while in Canada.
